1. A-SMYLE Student of the Month – April 2014

   Mina Vukosavljevic, a CIEE A-SMYLE student from Serbia, is a dynamic role model and A-SMYLE youth ambassador, performing over 100 hours of community service and attending workshops to help teach English in her home country.

2. FLEX Student of the Month – March 2016

   Jennet, a Future Leaders Exchange (FLEX) student from Turkmenistan, has won over her entire community and school with her enthusiasm, hard work and dedication.

3. CBYX Student of the Month – November 2017

   We are pleased to announce Tim Oswald, a YFU-placed, Congress-Bundestag Youth Exchange (CBYX) student from Germany, hosted in California, as the November 2017 CBYX Participant of the Month.

4. Fulbright Visiting Scholar Program for Iraq

   The Fulbright Visiting Scholar Program for Iraq brings Iraqi scholars in selected fields to U.S. institutions.

5. UGRAD Alum Organizes Charity Run Across Ukraine

   

   While studying in the United States, Eurasian Undergraduate Exchange Program (UGRAD) alum Andriy Maksymovych met an activist who biked across the U.S. to raise money for charity. Andriy decided to adapt the idea to raise money for premature babies in his native Ukraine.

6. Fulbright English Teaching Assistant Program

   The Fulbright English Teaching Assistantship (ETA) Program, an element of the Fulbright U.S. Student Program, places recent college graduates and young professionals as English teaching assistants in primary and secondary schools or universities overseas. This program is an English For All initiative.

9. Fulbright-National Geographic Digital Storytelling Fellowship

   The Fulbright-National Geographic Digital Storytelling Fellowship is a new component of the Fulbright U.S. Student Program that provides opportunities for U.S. citizens to participate in an academic year of overseas travel and digital storytelling in up to three countries on a globally significant social or environmental topic.
