1. Fulbright U.S. Student Program - Eligibility & Application

   The Fulbright U.S. Student Program offers fellowships for U.S. graduating college seniors, graduate students, young professionals and artists to study, conduct research or be an English teaching assistant abroad for one academic year.

2. English Language Fellow Program

   Through the English Language Fellow Program (EL Fellow) highly qualified U.S. educators in the field of Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) participate in 10-month-long fellowships at academic institutions throughout the world. This program is an English For All initiative.

3. The Virtual English Language Educator Program

   The Virtual English Language Educator Program offers highly qualified U.S. educators in the field of Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) a unique and completely online opportunity to support English language learning around the world, participate in public diplomacy, and build mutual connections.

5. December 2015 - American Abroad Student of the Month

   Georgia native Maxwell Meyers fully embraced the YES Abroad program's ideals by going above and beyond to learn about his host country Macedonia and share his American culture through presentations at a local high school and volunteering with a living library project, among many other activities.

6. American Abroad Student of the Month: December 2017

   Christina Carrington, a Kennedy-Lugar Youth Exchange and Study Abroad Program (YES Abroad) participant is the U.S. Department of State’s December 2017 American Abroad Student of the Month. From Kansas and a graduate of Washburn Rural High School, Christina is currently studying in Skopje, Macedonia.

7. February American Abroad Student of the Month

   Olivia Jenkins, a Kennedy-Lugar Youth Exchange and Study Abroad Program (YES Abroad) participant, is the U.S. Department of State’s February 2019 American Abroad Student of the Month.

8. June 2019 CBYX German Participant of the Month

   We are happy to announce Ilayda Dogan, a Congress-Bundestag Youth Exchange (CBYX) high school participant, as the June 2019 CBYX German Participant of the Month.

9. CBYX Student of the Month – January 2018

   Joshua Kemper, a FLAG-placed, Congress-Bundestag Youth Exchange (CBYX) student from Germany, hosted in Lake View, Alabama, is the January 2018 CBYX Participant of the Month.

10. American Abroad Student of the Month - October 2016

    Although apprehensive at first about jumping into Chinese-only classes, Mackenzie embraced her experience and has taken advantage of resources such as her tutors and classmates.
