   We are pleased to announce Annika Wendel as the March 2023 CBYX German Participant of the Month! Annika, a Congress-Bundestag Youth Exchange (CBYX) Young Professionals participant placed by Cultural Vistas, is hosted in Emporia, Kansas.

6. October U.S. Participant of the Month!

   The German Bundestag and U.S. Department of State are pleased to announce Maddison Schwentner as the October Congress-Bundestag Youth Exchange (CBYX) U.S. Participant of the Month!  Maddison, a CBYX high school program participant from Lake Jackson, Texas and recruited by CIEE, is hosted by the Bettina family in Frei-Laubersheim, Rhineland-Palatinate.

7. January 2023 CBYX German Participant of the Month

   We are pleased to announce Laura Bitondi as the January 2023 CBYX German Participant of the Month!  Laura, a Congress-Bundestag Youth Exchange (CBYX) High School participant placed by YFU, is hosted by Julia Josling in Jackson, Michigan.   

8. American Abroad Student of the Month – October 2014

   Kennedy-Lugar Youth Exchange & Study (YES) Abroad student Erica Anderson is an active member of her Pietermaritzburg, South Africa community, participating in many activities and clubs.

9. American Abroad Student of the Month - October 2015

   Tiarra from Connecticut's cheerful demeanor, dedication to learning Korean, and volunteering to teach English at a local community center makes her an ideal classmate, tutor, and friend.

10. American Abroad Student of the Month - April 2016

    Elizabeth has become deeply connected with her host family and community in Ghana and has a keen interest in making traditional Batik fabric and learning traditional sewing techniques.
