1. Future Leaders Exchange - Program Details

   The Future Leaders Exchange (FLEX) Program provides scholarships for high school students (ages 15-17) from Europe and Eurasia to spend an academic year in the United States, living with a family and attending an American high school.

2. U.S. Speaker Program

   The U.S. Speaker Program is a nimble, rapid response public diplomacy tool that advances national interests by recruiting prominent American experts to interact in-person or virtually with foreign decision-makers and other professional interlocutors to explain and further key policy priorities that protect, strengthen, and benefit the United States.

3. Sports Envoy Program

   Athletes and coaches in various sports are chosen to serve as envoys or ambassadors of sport in overseas programs that include conducting clinics, visiting schools and speaking to youth.

4. Congress-Bundestag Youth Exchange

   The Congress-Bundestag Youth Exchange (CBYX) program provides year-long academic, homestay, and community service opportunities for American and German high school students, vocational school graduates, and young professionals.

5. Tunisia Undergraduate Scholarship Program

   As part of the Department of State’s Thomas Jefferson Scholarship Program, this program offers full scholarships to outstanding students from sectors and parts of Tunisia.

6. Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship Program

   The Benjamin A. Gilman Scholarship Program provides merit-based scholarships to outstanding American undergraduate students with high financial need, equipping them with the international experience, global networks, and foreign language skills essential to keep the United States safe, strong, and prosperous.

7. International Writing Program (IWP) at the University of Iowa

   Writers gather in Iowa City for this 10-week residency to work on personal creative writing projects, to give readings and lectures, and to interact with American audiences and literary communities across the U.S

8. Study of the U.S. Institutes

   The Study of the U.S. Institutes promote a better understanding of the people, institutions, and culture of the United States among foreign students, teachers, and scholars. Study of the U.S. Institutes (SUSI) are short-term academic programs for groups of undergraduate leaders, educators, and scholars from around the world.

9. Fulbright Visiting Scholar Program - Eligibility & Application

   The Fulbright Visiting Scholar Program provides grants to approximately 850 foreign scholars from over 100 countries to conduct post-doctoral research at U.S. institutions from an academic semester to a full academic year.

10. Fulbright U.S. Scholar Program

    The Core Fulbright U.S. Scholar Program sends approximately 800 American scholars and professionals per year to approximately 130 countries, where they lecture and/or conduct research in a wide variety of academic and professional fields.
