   Since day one of her program year, Jenesis has demonstrated the qualities of an exemplary exchange student while studying in Skopje, Macedonia.

   The FLEX Student of the Month for December is Dilbar Odilova from Uzbekistan.

   Natasha Harris, a National Security Language Initiative for Youth (NSLI-Y) participant, is the U.S. Department of State’s December 2023 American Abroad Student of the Month.

4. May 2024 American Abroad Student of the Month

   Kennedy-Lugar Youth Exchange and Study (YES) Abroad participant, Lauryn Ford, is the U.S. Department of State’s May 2024 American Abroad Student of the Month

5. FLEX Student of the Month — December 2012

   Yelyzaveta, a student from Ukraine, got into the spirit of the holiday season during International Education Week (IEW).

   Anna Terekhova, a World Link student from Russia, is an active volunteer and cultural ambassador in her host community.

   Elizaveta, a high school student from Russia, excels in her studies and participates in Student Government, volunteering, and theater.

8. American Abroad Student of the Month - February 2015

   Since arriving in her host city of Banja Luka in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Alessandra has shown a remarkable understanding of cultural differences and an impressive eagerness to immerse herself into the local community.

   Jessica Gumucio, Senior at Davidson College, studied Russian in Vladimir, Russia in Summer 2015 on a Critical Language Scholarship (CLS).
