   In the Year of the Olympics, Sam Perkins and Swin Cash Travel to London

   

   Partnering with the NBA and WNBA and working with the U.S. Embassy in London, U.S. State Department Envoys Sam Perkins and “Swin” Cash traveled to the United Kingdom for the 2012 Olympics.

2. Tunisian Swimmers Visit the U.S.

   

   Partnering with USA Swimming, the U.S. State Department brought 13 athletes—12 youth and one coach—to the U.S. for a swimming-focused program.

3. Envoys Tamika Raymond and Kiesha Brown Travel to China

   

   Working with the Women’s National Basketball Association, the U.S. Department of State sent former WNBA stars Tamika Raymond and Kiesha Brown to Shenyang, China.

4. Former U.S. Men's National Soccer Team Members Travel to Cyprus

   

   Former U.S. Men's National Soccer Team members travel to Cyprus.

5. A-SMYLE Student of the Month – March 2014

   Emina Mulic, a World Link A-SMYLE student from Montenegro, is having a full and well-rounded exchange year; in addition to volunteering for several community service organizations, she's an active participant in many school clubs and sports, and creatively shares her Montenegrin culture with friends and classmates.

6. Gheorghe Muresan Trains Turkish and American Youth during World Learning Exchange Program

   

   During the second part of the exchange, 12 American participants traveled to Turkey where they practiced learning basketball skills and engaging in leadership development and conflict resolution sessions with former NBA player Gheorghe Muresan.

7. Community Outreach through Coaching Softball

   Daley’s experience as an ETA in Malaysia was enriched through coaching softball.

10. Game Plan Rugby Academy with New Zealand

    

    Education-1st Hawaii partnered with USA Rugby and New Zealand Rugby Union to deliver their Game Plan Rugby Academy in Hawaii.
